Matas Olsauskas is a Music Media Production student at Ball State University. He is currently President of the EDMC (Electronic Dance Music Club), serves on the Ball State University Singers tech crew, and has been involved with music for most of his life from school bands to The Chicago Youth Concert Orchestra. Once Matas realized that music was going to play a major role in his life, he decided to attend Ball State University to pursue a degree in Music Technology. Music and audio are his passions, and whether he’s producing, recording, or doing live sound, Matas strives to ensure the best sonic pressure waves to the listener’s ears.
Matas’s interest in the recording and production of music began to grow with the help of his brother, Vinny Olsauskas (CEO of Real Metal Reviews). They recorded their first EP with their band, Teratological Nightmare, and ever since then Matas has been fascinated with recording and the technology behind it.
Electronic music production has always been an interest of Matas, and because he wanted to learn more about its culture and production, he delved deeper into the topic. Once he realized that electronic music would be another interesting venture, Ejion was born. Matas's first alias for this project was SONORITY, which later evolved into Ejion. From the very first song he produced, to the songs that are in progress today, Matas has shown his love and fervor for music and hopes to deliver the same emotions to everyone who listens to Ejion.
